Multi-platinum singer/songwriter Dermot Kennedy has announced Amble and Aaron Rowe as special guests for his two landmark headline shows at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium

📍 11th & 12th July 2026

Dermot Kennedy will be the first Irish solo artist to play one - and now two - shows at the iconic venue.

This week, Dermot Kennedy announced his third album ‘The Weight of the Woods’, out March 27th via Island Records.

The album announcement is accompanied by the release of lead single “Funeral” and its stunning official music video starring Charlie Rowe and directed by Charlie Sarsfield.

The album release comes ahead of Dermot’s largest headline tour to date in May and June 2026. The landmark tour will see Dermot play bigger than ever venues across Europe before a run of 6 UK arena shows, including a return to London’s O2 on June 5th. In July, Dermot returns home for two headline shows at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium.

Known for his passionate and powerful live performances, Dermot has graced the stages of such iconic venues as London’s O2 Arena and New York City’s Madison Square Garden. The show will feature favourites spanning Dermot’s discography, along with new material to be released in 2026.

Amble’s rise from pub gigs to sold-out arenas has been fuelled by the dedication of fans at home and abroad. Their debut album, Reverie, topped the Irish Album Chart across four non-consecutive weeks.

Their music has also clocked up over 115 million streams globally, and they sold over 100k tickets worldwide last year. Since forming in late 2022, Amble – Robbie Cunningham, Oisín McCaffrey, and Ross McNerney – have built a reputation for honest songwriting, lush acoustic arrangements and captivating live performances. Amble will also support Dermot Kennedy on his 2026 Europe and UK tour.

Fast-rising Irish singer-songwriter Aaron Rowe also joins Dermot Kennedy as a special guest, following a breakthrough year that has seen his profile skyrocket. Having supported Lewis Capaldi, his summer included a Glastonbury debut, a mainstage slot at Electric Picnic, and standout performances supporting Ed Sheeran who he is supporting on his 2026 Australia, New Zealand, and North America Loop Tour.
