Phoenix Energy Belfast City Marathon 2026 Traffic Update
The 2026 Phoenix Energy Belfast City Marathon will takeover the streets of Belfast this bank holiday weekend.
The Belfast event is renowned for the incredible local support and crowds cheering on runners throughout the 26.2 mile route.
The Marathon route runs through all 4 areas of Belfast; North, South, East and West, starting at Stormont Estate and finishing in Ormeau Park.
As thousands of participants prepare to take part across the Marathon Run and Wheelchair Race, Team Relay and 8 Mile Walk, we thought we'd share a traffic update for those visiting the city on Sunday.
There will road/traffic disruption across the city throughout the morning and early afternoon.
Motorists are asked to follow diversion signs and take direction from stewards on the route.
