Two men arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after south Belfast stabbing

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed in his chest and neck in south Belfast.
Police say it happened on Fitzroy Avenue around 7.30pm on Wednesday evening.
He was taken to hospital for treatment and his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
A man aged in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Meanwhile, a second man who is also in his 20s, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and theft.
They remained in custody on Thursday morning.
