NIFRS deal with more gorse fires overnight
They have been fighting a large gorse fire at Corrick road in Draperstown.
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service have been fighting a large gorse fire at Corrick road in Draperstown.
Overnight, fire appliances from Maghera, Magherafelt, Cookstown & Dungiven were in attendance supported by a command unit from Kilrea and specialist wildfire officers.
A total of 54 personnel were attending the incident at the peak of the blaze, which is believed to have been deliberate.
NIFRS have now ceased operations at the incident and the fire has been extinguished.
