A 30-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murdering young mother Amy Doherty in Londonderry is currently receiving medical treatment, according to the PSNI.
In a statement the PSNI added he was "not fit for police interview at this time."
Police launched a murder investigation on Saturday after they were called to a property in the Summer Meadows Mews area of Derry and Ms Doherty was found badly injured.
The mum-of-two was taken to hospital where she later died.
Yesterday (Tuesday) a Book of Condolence opened in the Guildhall.
Ms Doherty's funeral will be held on Thursday - with vigils in various parts of Northern Ireland on Friday.
