Gunshots fired at Londonderry home

Shots have been fired at a home in Co Londonderry.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident that occurred in the Galliagh Park area of Derry at around 11.15pm on Thursday.

One person was inside the property at the time of the shooting, but no one was injured.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Officers subsequently attended the scene and conducted a search of the area – with enquiries now ongoing into the circumstances of what happened, and who was involved.

“We would appeal to anyone who was in the Galliagh area on Thursday night, or who saw anything suspicious to contact police.”
