'Controlled explosion' carried out at a school

A controlled explosion has been carried out on what's being described as a potentially unstable substance at a school in Randalstown.

The PSNI say the explosion passed without incident, and that there was nothing suspicious about the substance which was discovered during a routine safety inspection.

It happened on Wednesday afternoon.
