Kulsuma Akter was seeking refuge in Bradford when her husband tracked her town and stabbed her to death on a Saturday afternoon, near the city centre.
Habibur Masum, 26, has been found guilty of murdering his 27-year-old wife, whilst she pushed their baby in a pram.
Kulsuma has been seeking refuge, following previous threats to kill and reports Masum held a knife up to her throat months before.
The pair had a seven-month-old baby together at the time and Masum lived in Oldham at the time.
Masum had tracked Kulsuma down, and killed her in April last year, on a Saturday afternoon, close to the city centre in the Westgate area.
The court was told that after the attack Masum "very quickly" left the area, travelling to Aylesbury and changing his appearance by shaving his beard and cutting his hair.
He’d previously studied at university in Bedfordshire.
Following a three-week long trial at Bradford Crown Court, Masum has been found guilty of murder, threats to kill and stalking but not guilty to assault.
He will be sentenced next month
