Sir Jeffrey Donaldson found guilty of sex abuse charges

Former DUP leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson has been found guilty at Newry Crown Court of 18 historical sex offences against two women when they were children, including one count of rape, 13 of indecent assault and four of gross indecency.

Lady Eleanor Donaldson, the wife of Sir Jeffrey Donaldson, has been found to have committed the acts relating to offences of aiding and abetting over historical sex offences following a trial of the facts at Newry Crown Court.
