Police are investigating a petrol bomb attack in County Londonderry.

It happened at a house in Limavady early this morning, Thursday 4th June.

Damage was caused to the front door of the property and no injuries were reported.

Inspector Redmond said: "Shortly before 1am, it was reported that a device had been thrown a residential property in the Sperrin Road area of Limavady, causing damage to the front door.

“Thankfully, there were no reports of any injuries.

"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the incident and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area, or to anyone with CCTV or other footage that could assist the investigation, to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 58 of 04/06/26."
