Police at scene of North Belfast security alert
A security alert is underway in North Belfast.
A PSNI statement said, “Police are at the scene of a security alert in the Canning Place area of north Belfast this morning, Sunday 12th April.”
“Evacuation of a number of local residents is underway and we would ask that the public avoid the area at this time.”
