Award-winning actors Eddie Marsan (Back to Black, Happy-Go-Lucky) and Éanna Hardwicke (Normal People, Lakelands) stepped onto the red carpet in Belfast tonight for the premiere of No Ordinary Heist, a gripping new Irish thriller inspired by the largest cash robbery in UK and Irish history.
The Odeon Belfast played host to the star-studded event, with cast, filmmakers and special guests in attendance to celebrate the highly anticipated release.
Directed by Colin McIvor (ZOO) and co-written by McIvor and debut screenwriter Aisling Corristine, No Ordinary Heist draws inspiration from the infamous Belfast heist of December 2004.
The film tells the fictionalised story of two bank employees forced into an unthinkable situation – orchestrating a £26.5 million robbery to protect their families, while those behind the crime remain unseen.
The film was produced by Ruth Carter, Damon Lane and Johanna Hogan for Picture Locked Productions and Next Wednesday Films with funding from Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland, Northern Ireland Screen, RTÉ, Epic Pictures Group and Wildcard.
