Motorcyclist in critical condition following Co Antrim crash

A motorcyclist is in a critical condition following a crash in Larne.

It happened in the Circular Road area at around midday yesterday.

The PSNI’s Sergeant McBride said “We received a report at around 12pm on Sunday, 21st June of a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a van in the Circular Road area.”

“Officers attended the scene, along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. The motorcyclist was subsequently taken on to hospital and remains in a critical condition.”

“The Circular Road Roundabout, which was closed for a time, has since reopened.”

“Our enquiries are ongoing and we would appeal to anyone with information, including dash-cam or other footage, to contact police on the 101 number, quoting reference 595 of 21/06/26.”
