Belfast: teenager charged with riotous behaviour after disorder before Irish Cup semi-final

A 19-year-old man has been charged with riotous behaviour after disorder broke out before an Irish Cup semi-final in Belfast.
Police said several people were injured as fireworks, flares and bottles were thrown at Windsor Park on Friday evening.
It came before the match between north Belfast side Cliftonville and Dungannon Swifts.
Today (Sunday), the PSNI said a man had been charged to court in connection with the incident.
The teenager was charged with riotous behaviour, doing a provocative act, possession of fireworks/flares at a regulated match, indecent behaviour and attempted criminal damage.
He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Friday May 1.
The charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
