Man charged with Portadown murder
49 year old Rolandas Kvederis was pronounced dead on Thursday night
A 50 year old man has been charged with the murder of a man in Portadown and is due in court later.
49 year old Rolandas Kvederis was pronounced dead at a property in the Ranfurley Road area on Thursday night.
Another man who was arrested was released yesterday.
A PSNI statement said, “Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Major Investigation Team investigating the murder of Rolandas Kvederis on Thursday, 26th March in Portadown have charged a man to court.”
“The 50-year-old has been charged with murder.”
“He is due to appear before Lisburn Magistrates’ Court this morning, Monday, 30th March.”
“As is usual procedure, the charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.”
