Man charged with murder of Robbie Lawlor in North Belfast
The man was arrested in Liverpool earlier this week

A man has been charged with the murder of Irish crime boss Robbie Lawlor who was shot dead in North Belfast six years ago.
The man was arrested in Liverpool earlier this week and brought to Northern Ireland for questioning.
He's due in court in Belfast later.
A PSNI statement last night said, “Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Major Investigation Team investigating the murder of Robert Lawlor have charged a man to court this evening, Thursday 24th September.”
“Mr Lawlor was shot dead outside a house in Etna Drive in north Belfast on 4th April 2020.”
“The 41-year-old, who was arrested in Liverpool on Wednesday, 23rd September has been charged with murder, and possession of a firearm or ammunition with intent to endanger life or cause serious damage to property.”
“He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 25th September.”
“As is usual procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.”
