Joel M, the 28-year-old magician from Northern Ireland, recently made a memorable impression on America’s Got Talent judges Simon Cowell, Sofía Vergara, Howie Mandel, and Mel B.

His ‘magical’ audition blended suspense, storytelling, and an impressive sleight of hand.

Joel began by borrowing items from the judges, including Howie Mandel’s phone, a framed photograph belonging to Sofía Vergara, and a bracelet belonging to Mel B.

The bracelet carried special emotional value because it had been given to Mel B by her fellow Spice Girls for her 50th birthday, so the pressure was on for Joel’s trick to work.

The most dramatic moment of the performance came when Joel appeared to place all of the borrowed items into a zippered bag before smashing the contents with a hammer.

The judges watched in shock, with Mel B visibly distressed, the audience reacted with a mixture of disbelief and excitement as Joel continued to build suspense.

As the trick reached its conclusion, Joel reminded everyone that "anything that disappears must reappear."

One by one, the missing items were found in impossible and mind-blowing locations, which floored the audience.

Howie’s phone was safely recovered, Sofía’s photograph was discovered hidden inside her chair, and Mel B’s bracelet was revealed inside a tiny envelope concealed within her judge’s buzzer.

When it came time to vote, Mandel voted no, while Cowell and Vergara voted yes, sending him through to the next round.

Mel B enthusiastically said: “I love you, and I’m saving you, yes!”.
