Flag calls for killing of police and Protestants in Derry-Londonderry
The flag has been erected in Derry-Londonderry calling for the killing of police and Protestants.
The flag in the Bligh's Lane in Creggan is being treated as a sectarian-motivated hate crime.
It has been placed close to the site of a Republican bonfire due to be lit tonight.
Police say enquiries are ongoing.
"The potential removal of the flag will be considered with our Service Instruction, which states that each complaint relating to a public display is assessed on a case by case basis.
