Body found on County Down beach

A body has been found on a beach in Kilkeel in County Down.

Police are in attendance in the Moor Road area and cordons are in place.

In a statement this morning the PSNI said, “Police are in attendance at a beach in the Moor Road area of Kilkeel this morning, Thursday 21st May, following the discovery of a body.”

“Cordons are in place and we would ask the public to avoid the area at this time.”
