Faithless to headline Custom House Square this August
Dance pioneers Faithless are back with their biggest Belfast headline show to date this summer, alongside special guests.
📍 Custom House Square
🗓️ Thursday 20th August 2026
Few acts have shaped the landscape of electronic music quite like Faithless. For over three decades, the UK outfit have existed at the intersection of club culture, live performance and social consciousness - creating music that continues to resonate across generations and dancefloors worldwide.
Last year marked 25 years since the release of Insomnia, a defining global anthem that changed the fabric of electronic music and remains one of the most recognisable dance tracks ever made. Its influence continues to ripple through contemporary culture, with Disclosure recently reimagining the track in tribute - a nod to a song that inspired countless artists to speak the language of electronic music.
This year also marks the 30th anniversary of Reverence, Faithless’ seminal debut album. A record that helped define a new era of UK dance music, Reverence laid the foundations for a project that would go on to blur boundaries between club culture, songwriting and live spectacle.
Faithless’ return to Belfast comes amid a hugely active and creatively vital period for the band. Their boundary-pushing eighth studio album Champion Sound was released last year, featuring the final recorded vocal of Maxi Jazz alongside guest appearances from Antony Szmierek, Bebe Rexha, Emmanuel Jal, L.S.K and Suli Breaks. The record reaffirmed Faithless as a living, evolving project, rooted in the present while honouring its past.
From God Is A DJ and We Come 1 to Insomnia and Champion Sound, Faithless’ catalogue stands as one of the most influential bodies of work in electronic music history. With multiple No.1 albums, over 20 million records sold and streams in the billions, their cultural impact is undeniable, but it is in the live arena where Faithless truly come alive.
Faithless’ return to Custom House Square promises a rare and special moment for Belfast audiences - a celebration of legacy, evolution and the enduring power of the dancefloor.
