Dermot Kennedy to headline Belsonic 2027
Multi-platinum singer/songwriter Dermot Kennedy has today announced three huge Irish outdoor headline shows for June 2027, with two nights at Cork’s Virgin Media Park with support from Aaron Rowe, followed by a headline show at Belsonic, Belfast.
📍Saturday 26th June 2027
These dates will be Dermot’s first full-band shows in either city in over five years, and follow a massive 2026 that saw the release of his third UK/IRE number 1 album ‘The Weight of the Woods’.
Speaking about 'The Weight of the Woods', Dermot said: “To me, the album is a beautiful homegrown thing with Irish instruments and an Irish story. There’s a forest behind my house, which is a haven for my sense of wonder.
"It’s a peaceful place where I can escape. I’ve entertained the idea of living somewhere else, but I don’t think I’d be happy anywhere else.”

Kingfishr
It's been a whirlwind year for the Kingfishr lads, and it just keeps getting BIGGER. The Irish trio have just announced their biggest Belfast show to date.
Frontman Eddie Keogh says, "Before we started the band, we had been to many of the venues we played last week to see our favourite artists play: Mumford & Sons, Paolo Nutini, The Killers being the ones that spring to mind.
'Being on those stages was nothing short of an out of body experience. The support we felt every night was some we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We want to do it again, but bigger. So that's what we're doing."
Sombr
Following a landmark year of global success, multi-award-winning, GRAMMY-nominated superstar SOMBR has announced his biggest Belfast show to date on his 'Your Are The Reason' tour.
SOMBR's extraordinary rise since his 2025 breakthrough smash "Back to Friends" (which earned him his first Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit, reached No. 1 on Spotify's Global and U.S. charts, spent five weeks at No. 1 on Alternative Radio.
Alex Warren
Chart-topping multi-platinum artist Alex Warren has announced a major run of outdoor shows next summer, including a date in Belfast!
In August, he released his second album, WILDCHILD, a deeply personal record that looks back at his childhood, his parents and the experiences that have shaped him, while pushing his widescreen pop sound into new territory.
Amble
Modern Irish folk trio Amble are set to hit the road on their most extensive tour so far. Early next year Amble will release their their highly anticipated second studio album, Love And All Its Wares (January 29, 2027).
This marks a major sonic evolution - moving from the simpler, dream-like quality of Reverie to a bigger sound exploring a wider spectrum of emotion.
Themes of love and idealism are paired against the exhaustion of a non-stop touring schedule and a chaotic existence on the road.
Take That
This new tour marks the band's biggest European run in years, with 24 shows in 24 cities across 14 countries, and it's exciting news for Belfast fans - Gary, Mark and Howard will headline Belsonic 2027!
Take That's 10th studio album, is due for release later this year, with more details to be unveiled soon. Take That previously headlined Belsonic back in June 2024, and just last summer the trio brought The Circus Tour to Dublin's Aviva Stadium.
