Oh Yeah Music Centres talent leading development programme releases Scratch My Progress EP

The Oh Yeah Music Centre has released the Scratch My Progress vol 14. EP, showcasing music from the four artists selected for the programme's 2025 cohort.
Supported through the PRS Foundation Talent Development fund and IMRO the annual release marks the culmination of nine months of mentoring, recording, professional development and performance opportunities designed to help emerging artists develop their careers and take the next steps in the music industry.
The 2025 cohort features Lord Jane, Pinsleep, GUSH and The Thing Is…, each bringing their own distinctive sound and creative vision to the project. The EP captures the breadth of emerging talent currently developing within Northern Ireland's music scene and provides a platform for artists to reach new audiences.
Scratch My Progress offers a tailored programme of support, including one-to-one mentoring, industry masterclasses, studio recording time, professional photography, live performance opportunities and career development guidance. The programme is designed to equip artists with the skills, confidence and connections needed to build sustainable careers in music.

Their passion, dedication and creativity have been inspiring, and we've produced some fantastic music that reflects the breadth of talent emerging from Northern Ireland. We wish them every success as they continue their artistic journeys."
Now in its 15th year, Scratch My Progress remains one of Northern Ireland's longest-running artist development programmes. Over the years it has supported a wide range of emerging artists including Problem Patterns, Sasha Samara, Sister Ghost, Wynona Bleach, Lemonade Shoelace and Kitt Philippa, helping artists develop their craft, expand their networks and access new opportunities.
The programme has also helped nurture artists and industry professionals who have gone on to achieve national and international success, reinforcing its reputation as an important stepping stone within Northern Ireland's music ecosystem.
The EP will be launched with a special live showcase at Oh Yeah Music Centre as part of Sound of Belfast on Tuesday 10th November, where audiences will have the opportunity to experience performances from all four participating artists.
