GREAT NEWS FOR DUNK & EGG FANS 🛡️ The first season of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has been nominated in nine Emmy categories, including Best Drama Series and Outstanding Cinematography For A Series.
The Game of Thrones prequel, which first aired in January, impressed both diehard Game of Thrones fans and casual viewers alike.
The six-part HBO drama is adapted from George R.R. Martin’s novella The Hedge Knight and stars Peter Claffey as the wandering hedge knight Dunk and Dexter Sol Ansell as his young squire, Egg.
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, was shot at Titanic Studios and on location across Northern Ireland, such as Myra Castle, Tollymore Forest and Glenarm.

Yes, HBO has officially renewed A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms for a second season.
Filming for the series is already underway and is scheduled to return to screens in 2027. Fans believe that the show will adapt George R.R. Martin's second Dunk & Egg novella, The Sworn Sword.
