Three charged with murder following fatal stabbing in south London

Detectives investigating the murder of Kamahl Cameron-Williams in south London have charged three men with murder.

The men were charged on Wednesday, 24 June and will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 25 June.

They are: 23 year old Isaiah Adio-Weathers, of Evelyn Street, Lewisham.

21 year old Amari Auguste-Francois, of Malpas Road, Hackney.

Ellis Shakiem who is 23 of Denmark Road in Southwark.

They were also charged with attempted murder.

Auguste-Francois was additionally charged with possession of a bladed article.

What happened?

The charges relate to the fatal stabbing of 31-year-old Kamahl, who died in Westow Road, Crystal Palace just after 4am on Sunday, 21 June, despite the best efforts of emergency services.

Four people – a 17-year-old boy and three men aged 19, 30 and 45 – who were arrested on suspicion of murder on Sunday, 21 June, have been bailed pending further enquiries.
