Police are looking for help in identifying a man whose body was discovered in a wheelie bin located in Cash’s Park off Daimler Road in Coventry.

The man, believed to be between the ages of 40 and 50, was found at around 5pm on Friday.

Officers suspect he may have been struck by a vehicle before being moved to the park.

Efforts are underway to determine the exact circumstances of his death.

In a bid to identify the man, West Midlands Police have described his tattoos as a cross with a snake wrapped around it on his back, along with the words ‘Little Stardust’, and on his right arm a tattoo of ‘nan’ featuring a clover with the Irish flag colors.

Detective Chief Inspector Phil Poole, who is leading the investigation, explained that a large team of detectives, forensic experts, and other staff are working tirelessly to find answers.

“We’ve had several pieces of information come through to us as a direct result of our appeal, and we are following up those lines of enquiry,” Poole said.

He urged anyone who recognises the descriptions of the tattoos, notices unexplained vehicle damage, or observes unusual behaviour in someone they know to come forward.

“If you know or are responsible for what happened to this man, I would urge you to come forward now so that we can get the answers that he deserves,” he said.
