Blind & drunk-driver pleads guilty
The offender also does not have a driving licence or insurance on the vehicle, which he was said to have been driving without the owner's permission

A blind drink-driver travelled 150 miles at night in a car he took without his partner’s permission, a court has heard.
Anthony Hall, 49, was stopped behind the wheel on the M6, north of Carlisle, in the early hours of 29th June.
Suresh Basra, prosecuting, told Carlisle Magistrates’ Court that Hall "took the vehicle in question, I believe, from a partner without permission.
"He had driven some 150 miles from Huddersfield."
A police officer saw the vehicle drifting between lanes and onto the hard shoulder.
When the officer stopped the vehicle, Mr Hall said he was managing to drive by following HGV lights.
He blew over the legal alcohol limit by the roadside.
In court Hall — who entered court wearing dark glasses and using a while stick — pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, taking a vehicle without consent, drink-driving, no insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
Hall is due to be sentenced at Huddersfield Magistrates’ Court on 8th September.
In the interim, he has been banned from driving, despite having no licence.
