Texas will celebrate the 30 years of their landmark album ‘White on Blonde’ on a major headline UK tour in October 2027.
Opening at Aberdeen P&J Arena on Friday 15th October, Sharleen Spiteri and co. play Newcastle, Glasgow, Leeds, Cardiff, Brighton, London and Manchester before concluding at Birmingham Utilita Arena on Saturday 30th October.
Texas will perform songs from ‘White on Blonde’ plus other hits from their back catalogue. Fellow Scottish pop rock icons Del Amitri will support at all dates.
Tickets to Texas’ UK arena tour go on sale from Absolute Radio Tickets at 10am on Friday 30th October 2026.
Featuring the hit singles ‘Say What You Want’, ‘Halo’, ‘Black Eyed Boy’ and ‘Put Your Arms Around Me’, Texas’ fourth album ‘White on Blonde’ was released in February 1997, and it sold more than 1.6 million copies in the UK alone.
The album will get a 30th anniversary reissue on Friday 5th February 2027, and Texas have also premiered the new song ‘Another Way To Cry’, which features on the second disc of rarities and demos.
‘Another Way To Cry’ comes with a stunning video shot in the Scottish Highlands directed by Niall Trask (Jamie T, Fat White Family), which stars longtime friend and celebrated actor Robert Carlyle alongside Sharleen. The piece is a love letter to the film Paris Texas, which the band took its name from. Watch it here:
