Super Furry Animals perform first concert in 10 years - setlist, video and photos

Welsh psychedelic rock wonders Super Furry Animals made their live return in Dublin on Wednesday night (6th May) after 10 long years away.
The concert in front of a rammed-to-the-rafters Dublin 3Olympia marked the first time Gruff Rhys, Huw Bunford, Guto Pryce, Cian Ciaran and Dafydd Ieuan had shared the stage together since the conclusion of their Fuzzy Logic and Radiator 20th Anniversary Tour in Cardiff in December 2016.
Opening with the ‘Guerilla’ classic ‘Wherever I Lay My Phone (That's My Home)’, Super Furry Animals’ setlist in Dublin largely drew from the band’s first six studio albums plus the EP tracks 'Focus Pocus / Debiel' and 'Ice Hockey Hair'.

SFA anthems played on the night included ‘Golden Retriever’, ‘Something 4 the Weekend’, ‘Northern Lites’, ‘Hello Sunshine’, ‘Slow Life’ and traditional euphoric set closer 'The Man Don't Give a F---'. Check out the full setlist below.
As always, there were props aplenty including a gargantuan mobile phone, Gruff’s Power Rangers-style helmet, and their legendary yeti outfits.
Super Furry Animals’ completely sold-out May 2026 tour continues with two gigs at Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom this Friday and Saturday.
Following the May dates, Super Furry Animals play a series of outdoor summer shows including a special gig at Llangollen Pavilion on Thursday 12th July featuring a performance of the band’s Welsh language album ‘Mwng’ in its glorious entirety.
