Ocean Colour Scene guitarist and founder Steve Cradock will release his first-ever book this spring to coincide with his epic 35-date UK tour.

The exclusive Travellers Tunes book is available in Luxe and Superluxe editions, and it boasts stories and rarely seen photographs from Steve Cradock’s distinguished career.

Featuring a foreword from his friend and bandmate Paul Weller, Travellers Tunes sees Steve look back on the formation of OCS and the super-sized success of such records as the blockbuster ‘Moseley Shoals’, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.

Both editions of Travellers Tunes come with a bookplate personally signed by Steve and plus the free CD ‘A Soundtrack To An Imaginary Movie.’

The Superluxe edition is augmented by an exclusive set of four postcards, an exclusive archive scrapbook, and a set of five Steve Cradock plectrums in their own tin.

Steve Cradock says: “I am really looking forward to going out on solo tour this spring in which I will look back at my career in music and sing some of my favourite songs. This book is the perfect accompaniment to that tour; a souvenir of my career so far.”

OCS played record breaking gigs with Oasis at Knebworth for 250,000 people as Britpop reached its zenith in 1996. He joined Paul Weller’s band in 1992 and has appeared on all of his studio albums, while also joining The Specials in 2014.

Fans can pre-order copies of Travellers Tunes RIGHT HERE ahead of the book’s publication date in the spring.

Steve kicks off his Travellers Tune tour at Belfast Limelight 1 on Tuesday 3rd March and wraps up Edinburgh Queens Hall on Saturday 23rd May. You can also buy tickets from his official website RIGHT HERE.
