State Fayre 2026 announces FUME Pit food line-up and more music acts
It takes place at Hylands Park in Chelmsford this June
State Fayre 2026 has announced the line-up of mouth-watering food traders who will be appearing at the festival as part of The FUME Pit.
Taking place from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th June 2026 at Hylands Park in Chelmsford, State Fayre is headlined by Kings of Leon, Alanis Morissette and The Lumineers with Skunk Anansie, Stephen Wilson Jr, The Black Crowes, Elles Bailey and Counting Crows among the artists confirmed to perform live.

The UK's largest music and barbecue festival will welcome some special guest appearances across the weekend from ‘Big John’ John Fisher, Eating With Tod and Ollie Eats.
They join a line-up of traders that includes Austin’s KG BBQ, multi-award-winning wood-fired chef James Peck of Ember, Rack City Ribs, Craft & Cleaver, Ginger Wings, Poor Boys, LD’s Kitchen, Temper, Blacksmith Smokers, The Dragon Flame BBQ, Yello Yard, Shwings, E8 Fish, Game & Flames and Wholesome Junkies.
All traders will offer a selection of dishes, with the majority priced under £10, creating the perfect opportunity for a full, accessible BBQ tasting experience across the weekend.
The FUME Pit will also feature the largest live-fire cooking display ever seen in the UK, an epic spectacle of giant BBQ rigs.

“The FUME Pit brings together the UK’s most-awarded pitmasters alongside 2025 FUME Champion and Austin native KG BBQ for an unforgettable live-fire spectacle. Every trader will offer at least one BBQ dish for under £10, making world-class barbecue accessible to every fan, all hand-picked by Eating With Tod.

Also announced today and joining the music line-up at State Fayre are Benny G, Brenn!, Emma Ogier, Hannah Hill, Landon Smith, Lily Moore, Linka Moja, Mae Estes, Marfa and The Brudi Brothers.
