Radiohead have announced 21 tour dates in Australia and Japan for 2027.

Returning to Australia for the first time in 15 years next May and June, Radiohead play four shows at Perth RAC Arena, six nights at Melbourne Rod Laver Arena and a six-date residency at Sydney Afterpay Arena.

The Oxford band then head over to Japan for a five-show run at Saitama GMO Arena in mid-June.

Radiohead’s last standalone headline shows in Japan were in October 2008, but they played more recently at Summersonic Festival in 2016.

To help get tickets directly to fans and to minimise interception from touts and bots, tickets will only be accessible by registering via radiohead.com with Frontier Touring (Australia) and eplus (Japan).

Radiohead play a series of European residencies in November and December 2025, including four gigs at London’s The O2.

Back in July, Radiohead guitarist Ed O’Brien told the Los Angeles Times that the band are planning to play around 20 shows a year going forward on different continents.

"Take that with a pinch of salt. I don't think we'll do any more than 20 shows. Because you can't do any more — these songs, they're too powerful."

"The shows last year were really emotional," he added. "By the end of it, you were drained."
