It's called The Wonder Wall

A colossal portrait of Oasis’ Liam and Noel Gallagher is set to be unveiled in Cardiff later this month ahead of the band’s opening UK tour dates at the Principality Stadium.
Towering 13 feet – almost the height of a double-decker bus – and stretching nearly 20 feet wide, the black-and-white artwork dubbed The Wonder Wall will be located on the upper level of the East-side dining quarter at St David’s Cardiff.
Capturing the Gallagher brothers in their mid-nineties prime, the unique installation is by Welsh artist Nathan Wyburn and it was painstakingly constructed over four days using thousands of bucket hats.
Wyburn often creates portraits using unconventional materials, including this artwork of Ed Sheeran made entirely from old mobile phones:
The Wonder Wall will be officially unveiled at an event on Saturday 28th June, and it will remain at the shopping centre until Sunday 6th July.
Helen Morgan, Centre Director at St David’s Cardiff, commented: “We’re excited to be a part of the city where the Oasis ’25 Reunion Tour officially begins. If kickstarting the tour in Cardiff isn’t a seal of approval, we don’t know what is.
“To show our appreciation, we’re unveiling The Wonder Wall with what we hope will be an iconic bucket-hat portrait of Noel and Liam. Some might say it’s just a load of bucket hats, but we think it’s definitely, maybe, the best use of buckets hats ever.”
Oasis play their first concerts in 16 years at the 80,000-capacity Cardiff Principality Stadium and Friday 4th and Saturday 5th July 2025, before performing residencies in Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin.
Five pairs of tickets to Oasis's opening Cardiff Principality Stadium show will be given away on the Dave Berry Breakfast Show tomorrow morning (13th June). Find out more about the competition RIGHT HERE.
