Fans have called it 'Bonehead Blues'

Fresh from opening Oasis’ reunion shows at Cardiff Principality Stadium over the weekend, Cast frontman John Power has unveiled a musical tribute to guitarist Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs.
Cast are the first support act on stage at all of Oasis’ 2025 UK tour dates before special guest Richard Ashcroft, and last night (Sunday 6th July) Oasis icon Bonehead shared John Power’s amusing song.
Filmed in a backstage dressing room, the clip sees Power belt out the blues-tinged Bonehead song on his acoustic guitar.
Delivered in a scouse-American twang, the cutting lyrics go: “Bonehead yeah baby! Bonehead. Bone-bone-bonehead. Bonehead. You got to get your head on your shoulders. Bonehead.”
Powerful stuff.
Viewers of the song have dubbed the track ‘Bonehead Blues’, and some have called for it to be played by Cast at Manchester’s Heaton Park later this week.
We'll wait with baited breath...
