Noel Gallagher to perform live in London next week
A rare appearance outside of his day job with Oasis
Oasis’ Noel Gallagher will perform with drum and bass titan Goldie at London’s Royal Festival Hall next week.
Goldie is hosting two Dare To Dream performances as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival, which will see him perform alongside an The Elysian Collective Orchestra, a choir and a string of special guests including French-Senegalese singer Anaiis, jazz legend Yussef Dayes, and jazz singers Natalie Williams and Cleveland Watkiss.
The performances take place on Saturday 14th November at 5pm and 8pm, and Goldie took to Instagram last night to reveal that Noel Gallagher is the latest confirmed special guest.
Soundtracked by his 1997 collaboration with Noel Gallagher ‘Temper Temper’, Goldie says in the Instagram reel: “Me and Noel Gallagher do it again. 30 years, that’s what we’ve got between us. We’re here, going to Royal Festival Hall to do it all over again.”
Goldie added to NME: “They said this music would only last five years, 35 years later I’m still here ready to do another iconic show ‘Dare To Dream’ at the Royal Festival Hall.
“This time I have Noel Gallagher, Skin, Anaiis, Yussef Dayes and many more incredible guests plus my live band and an orchestra. New and classic material, it’s a very very special show. Two shows, One Dream.”
Alongside Goldie, Noel Gallagher has collaborated with The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, Paul Weller, Miles Kane and Gorillaz to name but a few.
