Fontaines D.C. announce June and July 2027 UK tour

The unstoppable Fontaines D.C. have announced a five-date UK tour for June and July 2027.
Following two historic homecoming gigs at Slane Castle in Ireland, Fontaines D.C will kick off their UK outdoor tour at Cardiff Blackweir Fields on Tuesday 29th June.
They then play Newcastle St. James’ Park (Thu 1st July), Manchester Heaton Park (Sat 3rd July), Glasgow Green (Tue 6th July) and London Stadium (Fri 9th July).
Featuring support from Little Simz and Viagra Boys, tickets go on sale from Absolute Radio Tickets at 10am on Thursday 10th September.
Last week, Fontaines D.C. - Grian Chatten, Carlos O’Connell, Conor Curley, Conor Deegan and Tom Coll – announced a November 2026 UK arena tour visiting Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham and London. Tickets went on sale this morning.
The live shows support the Friday 16th October release of Fontaines D.C.’s fifth studio album ‘Dopamine Chamber’, which features the Absolute Radio playlisted anthem ‘Marianne’.
Commenting on the album title, singer Grian Chatten says: “The album itself is a dopamine chamber. You step inside and we test these different mind- or mood-altering pieces of music on you.”
Explaining how Fontaines D.C. have evolved musically since ‘Romance’, Chatten continues: “I think Romance was maybe 60 per cent human and 40 per cent corrupted by automation, and a loss of feeling.
“This one feels more like 60 per cent corrupted — the mask is wearing the face a little more.
“I felt it would be more powerful to leave the hope out and reflect the ugliness honestly. This one needed to feel more like a catastrophic warning.”
“Our albums have always questioned a sense of place,” adds bassist Conor Deegan. “First Dublin, then being away from Dublin, and then trying to find the romance elsewhere. On this record, the question became: where do you escape to?”
