Duran Duran honoured by Royal Mail with set of stamps

Music icons Duran Duran are being honoured by Royal Mail with a set of 12 stamps.
The main set of stamps feature eight iconic album covers from Duran Duran’s celebrated career from their self-titled 1981 debut ‘Duran Duran’ through to 2021’s ‘Future Past’.
Other albums in the Royal Mail set are ‘Rio’ (1982), ‘Seven and the Ragged Tiger’ (1983), ‘Notorious’ (1986), ‘Duran Duran (The Wedding Album)’ (1993), ‘Astronaut’ (2004), and ‘Paper Gods’ (2015).
A further four stamps, presented in a miniature sheet, celebrate Duran Duran's live performances.
They feature concert imagery and bold graphic elements from the Careless Memories Tour, the Astronaut Tour, the Sing Blue Silver Tour, and the Invisible.
Royal Mail say they ‘worked closely with Duran Duran on all aspects of the stamp issue, from the selection of album artwork and imagery to the overall design of the collection, helping to ensure it captures the creativity, style and innovation that have defined their rich and storied career.’

“We are delighted to honour Duran Duran as one of Britain's most successful bands and are thrilled to celebrate their contribution with this collection of stamps."
A Presentation Pack including all 12 stamps is priced at £22.50, and there are a range of stamps available to pre-order from Royal Mail’s official website RIGHT HERE ahead the release on Thursday 17th September.
Duran Duran are the ninth act to feature in a dedicated Royal Mail stamp issue following The Beatles in 2007, Pink Floyd in 2016, Queen in 2020, The Rolling Stones in 2022, Iron Maiden in 2023, The Spice Girls in 2024, The Who in 2024, and AC/DC in 2025.
