Blur unveil 30th anniversary reissue of 'The Great Escape'
Featuring eye-popping new artwork
Blur are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their fourth studio album ‘The Great Escape’ with an expanded reissue.
Originally released on 11th September 1995, ‘The Great Escape’ is certified 3x Platinum in the UK and it featured the blockbuster singles ‘Country House’, ‘The Universal’, ‘Stereotypes’ and ‘Charmless Man’.
Three decades on, a new double vinyl edition of the album will be available to purchase from Friday 12th December.
‘The Great Escape 30th Anniversary Edition’ features the 15-track standard album on disc one, plus a special collection of rare B-sides and bonus tracks from the album era on disc two. These tracks have never been released on vinyl before.
Alongside the musical delights, ‘The Great Escape 30th Anniversary Edition’ comes with new expanded artwork by artist and designer Tony Hung, the vinyl comes in yellow and turquoise and is housed in a gatefold cover.
