The Ballad of Johnny and June is continuing its tour across the UK, having recently finished a stint in Cardiff, New Theatre. It will now continue to venues in cities including Brighton, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Salford, Plymouth, Glasgow, Southampton, Leeds and more.
The new musical celebrates the life of Johnny Cash and his second wife June Carter Cash. It is full of legendary songs from both artists, including 'Ring of Fire', 'I Walk the Line', 'Jackson', 'Hey Porter', 'I've Been Everywhere' and many more.
The Ballad of Johnny and June comes from the director of Jersey Boys, and stars Christopher Ryan Grant, as Johnny. Christopher first look on the role of Johnny in the New York and Canada shows.
Alongside Christopher as Johnny, is Christina Bianco, whose previous roles have been in Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and The Wizard of Oz.
