Lainey Wilson to sing on new album by rock icons The Black Crowes
She guest appears on the record
The Black Crowes will release their first album in 15 years, the memorably monikered ‘Happiness Bastards’, on Friday 15th March 2024.
Produced by Jay Joyce (Carrie Underwood, Brothers Osborne), the 10-track album is billed as ‘a blistering record that is both fresh, yet quintessential rock n’ roll.’
Country music superstar Lainey Wilson lends her dulcet tones to the fifth track on the record, ‘Wilted Rose.’
The Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson says: “Happiness Bastards is our love letter to rock n’ roll. Rich and I are always writing and creating music; that has never stopped for us, and it is always where we find harmony together. This record represents that.”
His brother Rich adds: “This album is a continuation of our story as a band. Our years of experience writing and making music and touring the world are represented in this record, and we were brilliantly guided by one of the best producers in the business, Jay Joyce. I am incredibly proud of what we put together.”
The Black Crowes have confirmed they will support the release of ‘Happiness Bastards’ with a UK plus dates in North America and Europe.
